Card games and flashcards have been part of a creative teacher’s arsenal for decades. Now you can instantly create both double-sided flashcards and single-sided cards that you can use to play a variety of games. Who said that memorizing spellings and learning skills had to be boring!
Creating Flashcards
- From the Main Menu click on the button labeled Flashcards.
- Assuming that you have already chosen your objectives and edited your words in the Worksheet Format all you have to do now is print! That’s all there is to it!!
Creating Playing Cards
- From the Main Menu click on the button labeled Flashcards.
- When you are in the Flashcard format screen click on the button labeled Options in the upper right hand corner. This will take you to the Flashcard Options.
- Choose the radio button labeled Print Concentration Cards. This will tell the program to print single-sided cards so they can be used in playing card games such as Concentration and Go Fish.
- Again, assuming that you have already chosen your objectives and edited your words all you have to do is choose Print from the File menu and you are on your way. Your days of making games by hand are over!!
Editing in the Flashcard Format
- If you do want to edit in this format it is as simple as clicking on any of the cards you see and changing the font or editing the text.
- When you click on a word or activity the flashcard will highlight so you can type in it. Note: Remember, these changes will carry over into the other formats unless you tell the program not to when you leave the Flashcard format.
